AT System 10 Pro, Handheld & Beltpack same receiver

I can’t seem to find this info anywhere else on the web, so I’ll start with this one.

I had a client that needed to use a handheld or a belt pack on the Audio-Technica System 10 Pro receiver. There was already a handheld on the B side but we needed side A to be able to switch back and forth.

This is super easy to do on a dynamic frequency wireless system where the channel on the transmitter and receiver is not directly paired. As long as only a single transmitter (belt pack or handheld) is on at a time, its an easy switch.

The way I found to do this on the System 10 Pro was to set the handheld to ID 1, pair it with one side of the receiver. once its paired, turn on the belt pack (or second TX) and change side A to another ID (in this case I used 3 as 2 was for the second handheld on side B of the RX), and do the pairing feature of the TX and RX. Now the side that has two different IDs paired with it from two different Transmitters, the receiver will flash back and forth between the two ids. Turn on the handheld and it shows up as ID 1, turn it off, and the belt pack on and it shows ID 3.

Ta-Da!
